How did you carry the validated labor rate into the estimate, and how did you defend it to the owner?
We proved it by building it ourselves. Our crews trained on a very similar job, all interior partition walls, at our LÏEF building downtown and at Midtown. We put the actual hours and the finished product in front of the owner. Nothing defends a number better.
Which labor assumption did the hands-on installs confirm or challenge the most?
How fast it goes and how hard it is, and whether the trades took to it and enjoyed working with it. We had not used the product much before that.
