CRM Migration: questions answered
What people ask me about CRM Migration, and my answers. The project itself has its own page.
Once the CRM was live, what did the team do differently day to day?
Nothing, really. They do less. We built custom agents, each with its own skills for CRM tracking and uploading. They read every email, text and outreach touch and update the CRM as things happen, and that is what keeps it current. Tracking no longer depends on a salesperson doing it by hand, which is the step that always gets dropped. Once an agent does the tracking, a current CRM stops being hard. For the first time the process holds up.
How do you stop the agents from writing bad information into the CRM?
You don't solve it once. It keeps changing, and you get it wrong at first. The real world throws up a case, and we tune the agents each time. The first safeguard is what never gets written. Personal matters and legal matters stay out. We record calls, and some recorded calls are not business calls, so those get screened before anything reaches a record. The CRM holds the business relationship and nothing of the person's private life.
