What made small landlords confident enough to sign for structural work and a financing obligation tied to their property?
Trust came from things they could verify. We ranked first on Google, we had plenty of work in the pipeline, we had been in business a long while, and we held a general contractor's license. The biggest factor was that the financing company had approved us. It was a large financing outfit, and its approval told a small landlord that someone bigger had already vetted us.
